31 WEEKS (UPDATE)
Hello everyone! It’s been a while since my last blog post, but I have exciting news to share. My husband and I have been busy preparing for our little bundle of joy. We finally settled on the name Tristan Daniel – “T” is a tradition in my family, and Daniel is my husband’s first name.
Choosing a theme for Tristan’s room wasn’t easy, but after three weeks of brainstorming with my husband, we agreed on a Dr. Seuss-inspired design. We’ll focus on Cat In The Hat, Thing 1, and Thing 2, with the colors Red, Aqua Teal, and White. We’re starting with his room this week, and I’m excited to share all the DIYs and baby hauls with you.
As for my pregnancy, things have been going well, with some challenges along the way. At 18 weeks, I was still dealing with all-day sickness, but by 20 weeks, I was feeling better and able to enjoy regular food again. McDonald’s became my favorite spot!
I’ll never forget the first time I felt Tristan move. I was so scared because I thought it was supposed to hurt, but it didn’t – those love kicks make me feel so special. Tristan is very active and I love feeling his kicks. I don’t have any weird cravings, but I do crave Fruit Loops 24/7. I have to eat at least 3 to 4 bowls a day! For the past few weeks, I’ve been craving boiled peanuts and cotton candy, and I’m so lucky that my mom will be sending some soon
I’m excited to announce that my baby shower is coming up on August 17th. While I wish I could celebrate with my family and friends in the States, I’m grateful for the support of the women who have helped me throughout my pregnancy. Recently, we had our final photo shoot before our little one arrives, and I’m so pleased with the results. Even my husband, who usually dislikes taking pictures, enjoyed the shoot with J&F Photography. The photographer made us feel comfortable and had many fresh ideas to capture our special moments.
Gorgeous couple!
