Traveling with a 7-Month-Old: Our Family Vacation and Milestones

Good Day, My Beauties!!! It’s been a while since my last post, but I’ve been on a much-needed vacation with my family. My son, Tristan, is now 7 months old, and time is flying by so fast! We recently traveled back to the States to visit our family and had quite an adventure. In this post, I’ll be sharing our experience traveling with an 8-month-old and some of the milestones Tristan has hit during our trip.

Traveling with a 7-month-old can be challenging, but we managed to make it work. When we left Japan, Tristan was 5 months old, and he did great on the plane ride there. However, the plane ride back was a different story. He cried and screamed the whole way because he didn’t want to be in my arms. I understand how he felt because we traveled for two whole days before making it home. Despite the rough ride, we made it back safely and were happy to see our family again.

During our trip, Tristan picked up on many new things. He started crawling, walking, clapping, and even fighting! Yes, you read that right. If he doesn’t get what he wants or if we take something away from him, he’ll put up a fight (in a cute way, of course). He started moving around at my mom’s house, but once we got to my in-laws, he was on all fours and crawling everywhere. Now, I have no clue what to do with him. It’s amazing how fast they grow and learn.

Overall, our family vacation was a success, and we made some great memories. It was wonderful to see Tristan hitting these milestones and growing up so fast. Traveling with an 8-month-old is not easy, but it’s definitely doable. If you’re planning a trip with your little one, be sure to pack plenty of snacks, toys, and extra clothes. And most importantly, be patient and enjoy the journey. Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back with another update soon!
