Day Two: Fashion Week Tokyo

Hello, My Beauties !!!! I got to attend day two of Fashion Week Tokyo and I had so much fun. After being invited three years straight and not going. I knew this year would be my year ha-ha. I was so confused as to what I should and should not wear. I know being preggo it was going to be very hard for me to wear heels. So I went extra cute and comfy. Once I got on the train I wanted to snap a few pictures.

Sweater + Skirt

Hello, Beauties!!! Today I got to wear a skirt I have been dying to wear. I paired it with a light knit sweater and some flats. When you are going for a monochromatic color scheme you can never go wrong. Everything will flow so well together because the eye is taken in each shade and its blends. Lately, I've been taken risks when it comes to my outfits. You have no idea how it feels to wear something you thought you would never wear.

Simple Sunday

Hello, Beauties!!! Since I am now starting to figure out my personal style. It is going to be easier to do an Outfit post. It took me a while to understand that I do not have to follow every trend to be fashionable. Continue to be true to me and my outfits just come together. I am a simple person just give me the basics and a statement piece. With this outfit, everything is centered around my mustard silky cargo joggers from MissGuided (sorry they are sold out).

And then there was four ….

Hello, Beauties!!! I think it is time to share this wonderful news with my blog family. We're Pregnant with baby #2. I have been talking about this with my husband for the past year, but he always tells me "we need to wait". I was so ready to get my family out of the way because I grew up with older brothers and we are 6 years apart. I would like Tristan and his sibling to interact with one another.

Harajuku Traffic

Good Day Beauties I hope you all are doing well. My family took a trip to Yoyogi Park. This park is one of the biggest parks in Japan. I think it's pretty cool that it's in all three major districts here Shinjuku, Harajuku, and Shibuya. Our first time going and we had so much fun. We forgot to bring a blanket so we could sit and relax, but Tristan wasn't hearing that anyway ha-ha. We enjoyed ourselves at the park, then headed to Harajuku.

Peach In Distress

A day in Tachikawa with my friend Parris and I kept it cute but comfy. This whole outfit was centered around my shoes. I've seen so many celebrities wear a crop top with shorts and sneakers. It looks so cute on them so I gave it a try. My first choice was not a crop top why? Because since I've become a mom, I feel like showing my stomach is GROSS... But once I got dressed It all changed "Tristan's Mom got is going on" ha-ha.

Floral Tapered Trousers

Today in Japan it was very gloomy and windy. So, I decided to dress along with the weather. I got introduced to this new online store Missguided. I know it's been around for a while, but I'm already addicted ha-ha. While shopping I notice everything was versatile, meaning I could dress it up or down. I came across these Aleisha floral silk tapered pants and I couldn't pass them up. These pants are my statement piece I didn't want to go overboard that's why I kept everything else simple

DIY Tufted Headboard

Over the past two years I have talked about building a tufted headboard with my husband. He told me that we would do it, but we never got around to it. While visiting my mother in the states I got all the supplies I would need. Once arriving back in Japan I received all of my bedroom decor and I couldn't wait to make it. So the day of our anniversary my husband told me to lay everything out.

Denim + Sunflowers

Our first weekend back in Japan and I couldn't wait to enjoy this spring weather. I adore these sunflower shorts they are very soft and have pockets ( I love pockets. ) I went for the famous Boho chic look. This trend is what you are going to see the most this spring/summer. I enjoy the fact you can look cute and comfy. What's your favorite trend?

Finding Myself

Good Day Beauties I know once again, I've gone MIA, but It was for the good. I've been trying to re-find myself and figure out what I really want to do in life. Everyone knows when you become a wife and mother your life gets put on hold to take care of your family. Your "To-Do list" goes on and on but you're not on it. I was having trouble focusing on what I wanted in life and began to question do I love blogging and fashion.
